Kite and Windsurfing

It is REALly windy in Carnarvon and Coral Bay from October to early April making it the perfect spot for kite and windsurfing enthusiasts.  The months of October through to April is the perfect time to venture to this neck of the woods and hit the waves.  Steady 15 to 30km winds can be expected daily during this period.  Perfect windsurfing and kite surfing conditions, whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider.

Kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular water sports in Carnarvon. Carnarvon offers ideal conditions for these activities due to its consistent wind patterns and beautiful coastal scenery. Kitesurfing involves using a large kite to harness the wind's power and propel oneself across the water on a board.
